Enjoy a romantic break at Llanerch Vineyard Hotel

A romantic escape without ever leaving the vineyard...

Life can be fast paced, so it is important to make time for each other - to relax and reconnect away from it all.

Your time together is precious so here is our guide and top tips for making the most of your romantic break at Llanerch without ever leaving the grounds…

Choose a room with a view

Set the tone with a romantic, luxurious room. Our enormous Countryside Superior Rooms and Suites are designed with couples in mind. Every detail has been carefully chosen to provide the ultimate in comfort and luxury for a special, romantic stay.

Each impressive room has uninterrupted, peaceful views over the rolling Welsh countryside that surrounds the hotel. Throw open the balcony doors and enjoy the stunning scenery from your bed or curled up together on the sofa.

Our rooms have luxurious Respa super king size beds and sumptuous bedding and pillows for the most comfortable and tranquil night’s sleep.

Soak away your cares in your luxury ensuite bathroom with complimentary The White Company products, then wrap up in a fluffy Llanerch bath robe.

In your room, you’ll find a Nespresso coffee maker and other carefully considered touches to make your stay extra special, including Welsh wool blankets made at Pembrokeshire’s traditional woollen mill, Melin Tregwynt. Ideal for cuddles together on the balcony on cooler nights.

TOP TIP: If you are celebrating a special occasion, such as an anniversary or birthday, please let us know!

Enjoy a food experience

If you are staying with us then a visit to our award-winning restaurant is a must. Overlooking the vineyard and designed in romantic earth tones to mirror the surrounding woodland, our restaurant offers only the freshest, highest quality dishes made from seasonal, local ingredients.

We offer lunch, which can be taken outside on the vineyard terrace in warmer months, dinner, and traditional roasts on Sundays. Please book in advance as our restaurant is very popular with guests and locals.

TOP TIP: Save room for dessert. Chef creates some spectacular puddings!

Find a great spot for drinks

Needless to say, we have an extensive drinks and wine list, including our own range of Cariad wines made using grapes from our vineyard. The perfect opportunity to try an award-winning Welsh wine. We also have a range of fantastic local beers, ales, spirits and cocktails too.

In the summer months, you can enjoy drinks right in the heart of the vines on our patio area, which is the perfect sun trap and a great place to while away the hours together.

Or you can take your drinks into our cosy bar area, where you can enjoy a roaring fire in the winter months, or in our new games rooms if you enjoy a game of pool.

TOP TIP: Head up to our stunning covered rooftop terrace above the restaurant, which offers the best views of the vineyard whatever the weather. It’s the perfect spot to get away from it all and catch up over a glass.

Make a date

At Llanerch, you don’t need to leave the grounds to find plenty to do together during your stay.

Wine tasting and vineyard tour date

Our new luxury Tasting Lodge is home to our popular wine tasting and vineyard tours which run daily (please pre-book to avoid disappointment).

Here you will enjoy an entertaining and informal tuition from one of our experts who will talk you through how our wines are made and how to choose a wine. You will also sample three of our Cariad wines before enjoying a guided tour of the vineyard (subject to weather conditions and season). A great date for couples who enjoy a glass or two.

TOP TIP: Look out for a special souvenir.

Walking date

The hotel is surrounded by countryside, making it the ideal spot for couples who enjoy a walk together.

Our short woodland walk is perfect for stroll, taking you through the beautiful, shaded forest and around our lake, providing some fantastic picnic spots and quiet spaces to enjoy time together. The entrance can be found at the top of our main car park.

Our vineyard is also open to guests so you can meander through the vines together, taking in the views and enjoying the tranquillity of the Welsh countryside.

TOP TIP: We light up our vines in the evening for the ultimate romantic stroll after dinner.

Afternoon tea date

Afternoon tea overlooking the vineyard is perfect for a special date. You can keep it traditional with tea and coffee, or go extra with a sparkling afternoon tea with a glass of fizz. Our afternoon teas are made fresh every day using local, seasonal produce and are the perfect balance of fresh sandwiches and savouries and cakes and sweet treats.

TOP TIP: Book afternoon tea in advance as they are very popular with guests and locals.

Cookery class date

We are lucky enough to have one of Wales’ top cookery schools based on site at Llanerch. Run by the very talented Angela Gray, the school offers a range of cookery classes and demonstrations from bread-making to Mexican feasts so there’s something for everyone. You can book directly with the cookery school on its website Angela Gray Cookery School at Llanerch Vineyard.

TOP TIP: Check out the online list of upcoming hands-on cookery classes to find what’s on during your stay and ensure you book in advance.
