What’s in our basket?
If there’s one thing we love at Llanerch, it’s being in heart of the Welsh countryside.
The views. The air.
There is wonderful produce that is grown, reared and caught in our surrounding fields and waters.
From season to season, we’re supplied with fresh ingredients that make it to guests’ plates in less time than it takes to say ‘Why would we import from hundreds and thousands of miles away when it’s all here, in fine form, on our doorstep?’. We are in a truly privileged position, and it’s why our menus are produce-led: designed around the best of what’s in season.
Moving towards June, we’re eyeing up beetroot, courgettes, broad beans, fennel, watercress, new potatoes, hake, crab, berries, plums (and much, much more). Our Head Chef, Mike, is busy putting together lunch, dinner and afternoon tea menus that will showcase these beautiful ingredients. And we’re looking forward to throwing open our terrace doors and hosting some great summer occasions for our regular guests and those new to Llanerch.
