This year’s Welsh Wine Awards will be hosted at Llanerch Vineyard on 15th November in the woodland marquee, with special guests from the wine and hospitality industries. The event will feature a three-course meal and a wine-tasting experience showcasing the finest Welsh wines.

The Welsh wine industry has been growing rapidly, with over 20 different grape varieties cultivated across the country, producing a wide range of still and sparkling wines. Welsh wine production has seen a 70% increase over the last decade, now exceeding 100,000 bottles annually (Glass of Bubbly)(Business Wales).

This growth reflects the rising quality and international recognition of Welsh wines.

An expert panel will judge over 40 wines from more than 10 vineyards, including some of Wales’ most renowned estates, offering guests an opportunity to taste and discover the depth and diversity of Welsh winemaking.
